James Edmund Wallington passed away peacefully in Renton on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Wally, as he was affectionately known by loved ones, was born on June 5, 1915 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Florence and Edmund Wallington. Wally grew up in Vancouver, BC until he moved to Seattle, WA in 1932, where he graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1935. In 1940, he married Eva Marie Larson. The couple had two children, twin daughters, Kathie and Karen. Wally and Eva were married for 52 years until her death in 1992. In 1995, Wally married Audrey Weeks Storey. Wally and Audrey were married for 14 years until her death in 2009. Wally was a long-time employee of PSF Industries until his retirement in 1980. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed travel and loved to paint. His family, including his grandchildren and great-grandchild were his pride. Wally was preceded in death by his first wife, Eva and second wife, Audrey. He is survived by his daughters, Karen Harris (Dave) of Aguilla, AZ and Kathie Johnson of Selah, WA, as well as four grandchildren, David Harris of Renton, WA, Julie Irwin (Jeb) of Kent, WA, Jennifer Baldi (Mike) and Jaime Johnson, both of Spokane, WA and one great-grandchild, Lauryn Baldi. A beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Wally will be terribly missed.
